The Hunter Speaks

Alison and the rest of the MFA program at Hunter had their final reading last week. It was nice to see (and hear) all of the people I’ve come to know over the last two years, and some I haven’t, give their words voice. It was my pleasure to share their night with them, and to take some pictures along the way.
It was touching to recognize the bonds formed with each other and their professors, and it was clearly a bittersweet coda for the many of them. I hope they take solace in the idea that nothing ever really ends, and that they can find ways to bring those bonds with them as they move beyond the current horizon.
